My babysitter L.Muck is back in town and today we will catch up with the news from Ireland. I'm planning on a pub lunch including fine conversation and laughter, a wee cider, and scampi with chips. Table for 1 in the Bailie pub please. Recently I've had a conversation with the Scottish Sunday Mail newspaper. I'll be finding out more within the next couple of weeks but it seems L.Muck and I will be blogging for this paper. I've 'advised' L.Muck that being in the public eye may mean she'll have to control some habits, particularly the cussing and chewing tobacco (or at least to do these separately which may be more acceptable). Additionally she may wish to replace her usual bar drink, a shot of red wine, for something much more Lady like. Lifestyle change, fame has it's sacrifices. I've yet to ask if we will receive a Blog Press Pass with our ID. It'll come in handy in so many ways. Something just like this one which we had taken just last year (the photo may seem a little ragged as it had been attached to a lampost for quite some time, I should have used the one recently removed from a billboard).
I believe this was taken during a Edinburgh Festival of Politics intermission, which was held last year at the Scottish Parliament. There's another Festival of Politics scheduled for 20-23 August.
We really only chain smoke when there's politics involved.
